We are in the process of making plans to move forward with one of the projects we pinpointed last December in Malawi. The project is to expand and improve the quality of services being offered at Ndifamodzi Community Based Organization (CBO) and Community Based Childcare Center (CBCC) (you can read more about this CBO and CBCC in the December 2006, Malawi Site Visit Report downloadable from our website - http://www.goodsforgoodinternational.org/static/projects-malawi).
The project is perfect for Goods for Good because the community is already organized and incredibly dedicated to the children, they just need some extra resources to bring their programs to the next level. We think this project can be a model for our work of strengthening community based care for orphans and vulnerable children moving forward.
