This past Monday was Mother’s Day. After making cards for the sisters and house mother’s (the women who watch over the children at St. Mary’s) 65 children piled into the Lorry (a huge flatbed truck) and headed to the beach. If you read the blog above it is worth mentioning that the young “mother’s” had the day off and came to the beach as well, their first time ever seeing and swimming in the lake. All of the children had a blast! Below are some pictures from our great day!
Goods for Good turns excess into progress. We collect surplus goods for targeted distribution to vulnerable children in Africa.
Through partnerships with companies in the United States and caregivers in Africa, we are able to provide much needed school supplies, clothing and health and hygiene products to children in crisis, while at the same time reducing waste at home.
